Chapter 5 was short but there were some good things like how they decided to give up the Boo Radley game, and scout began to go to Miss Maudie’s at night. Miss Maudie told scout that boo was still alive because he never left the house, and any stories that Jem and Scout heard were made up. She also told them that when boo a child he was a polite boy.
Also in this chapter they also decided to make a note to put in Boo’s window, but Atticus caught them and told them how Boo wanted to be alone. Atticus also caught them before they quit playing their game. Also Dill starts to get really close to Jem and Scout, he even asked scout to marry him.
I think that at the end of the chapter Jem, Scout, and Dill all start to agree that they have to give Boo some privacy. Also i think that dill wants to be friends with Jem forever, that is why he asked Scout to marry him.

ReplyDeleteI think that this is quite good, but I dont think Dill asked Scout to marry him to be friends with Jem forver. i actually think he really has a crush on scout and also wants to remain friends with her as well as Jem. This chapter was one of my favorites.
